I have been writing some more rap reviews for Exclaim! lately and it’s been going well. Must say, I’ve been really enjoying the work and the ability to listen to rap for more than just the joy of it. Not sure why, but it’s probably because I like to feel busy. Even when I’m on my way to class, laying in bed after a long day or whatever it might be, I still feel productive. I’ll rest when I’m dead, or alternatively: no rest for the wicked. Depends on what you think of me, or who you ask, that decides the applicability of these expressions.
Anyways, here’s a link to the review. It’s been weird because a few of my reviews have made google and the latest one I did for Lil Baby and Gunna’s new album Drip Harder is currently the first result on google.
