I am in Michigan on vacation, having left Chicago yesterday. It is a beautiful state, with a lot of greenery. Most importantly, it’s given me a certain amount of equanimity (if that is possible).
I feel recharged.
For one thing, I love to see my family. It’s always interesting what new stories will be ushered out, what new things I will learn. I am by nature a curious person, though I think most people are, and well, what’s more interesting to a person than themselves?
Along with that, I am in a town called Saugatuck, Mi which was once an artist colony. A place for wayward writers like me to rest, relax and recharge – why not do that myself?
Anyways, I’ve got to get back to reading and beaching.
